Our library is expanding and we have now transitioned to true 1080i High Definition acquisition for all new additions to the library, and in the process of launching our second website www.cityb-roll.com. In addition to Texas locations (every major city in HD) we now offer HD clips shot in several other U.S. states, plus a nice variety of other non-location specific scenes. All TexasB-roll and CityB-roll clips are royalty free, meaning your purchase allows usage in local commercials, corporate communications, marketing, tourism, electronic press kits, industrial films, independent short films, and more. For usage in national commercials or feature films, you must contact TexasB-roll for pricing and individual release. You may not resell TexasB-roll or CityB-roll stock footage, except for as part of your finished edited program, and credited to TexasB-roll.com.

Simple Steps to Great Footage

1. Browse this site from menus on left and make selections from the preview clips.
2. Call or email with your list of clip selections.
3. We will reply with a request for payment. Once payment is received, your full resolution clips will be uploaded to our ftp server (or yours) ready for download, or you may elect to have clips shipped to you on DVD-R.
4. Delivery on DVCPRO (HD), BetacamSP or DVCAM (SD) tape is available for an additional dubbing fee.

16:9 1080i HD stock footage

TexasB-roll and CityB-roll HD collections are composed of true 1080i High Definition footage, not HDV! Be sure to know what you are getting when shopping online - there is a difference!

Our footage is professionally shot (tripod, static shots and smooth moves, sequencing) with the Panasonic HVX-200 P2 HD camera in 1080 24p (except Sony HDCAM where noted). Additionally, we have several time-lapse selections in 720P.

4:3 Standard Definition stock footage

This site marks our transition to HD, so we have slashed prices on our entire library of standard definition stock footage, more than 200 clips!

TexasB-roll and CityB-roll SD (standard definition, NTSC) collections are composed of BetacamSP and DVCAM footage. Each clip is professionally shot (tripod, nice moves, sequencing) with Sony DXC-D30 broadcast digital camera package with Canon lens and ½ black Pro-mist filter. Additionally, there are a few collections noted as originating in mini-dv and 24p, shot with Panasonic DVX-100A.
